The MDS team is proud to announce an update to the Master Data Services Excel add-in. This version includes a number of performance improvements - most users will see an improvement of up to 4x to load data from an MDS server, without any additional server or environment changes. For additional performance increase (2-4x), you can enable dynamic content compression in IIS.
Note that while the update is for SQL Server 2014, the supplement also works for 2,012 cases of MDS SQL Server. Requirements Office / Excel remain the same - if you are using the MDS complement today, this update will continue to work.
